The work of Assyrians Without Borders is mainly concentrated on adopting villages in Assyria and helping them with their needs. We work with long term projects, focused on education, country side development and equality between men and women. We also contribute with acute help during catastrophes, as with the current Assyrian refugee situation in the Middle East. Assyrians Without Borders provides Assyrian refugees from Iraq with basic needs, such as food, shelter, clean water and medicines.
An important part of our operation is focused on helping young Assyrians to improve their future and their lives. We therefore support education by providing scholarships for Assyrians in Assyria.
Our tasks include:
- Improve living condition in a long term and durable way for the Assyrian people living in the Middle East (Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon).
- Adopt villages in Assyria and work in a long-term way to provide their needs.
- Help Assyrians in need with instant aid.
- Help young Assyrians to improve their future in Assyria.
- Spread information about and seek to create opinion for Assyrians and the work of our organization and its principles.
- Collect donations and support for the activities of our organization.
