Assyrians Without Borders Makes Sure that the Money is Used Wisely
Assyrians Without Borders is attached to SFI, Stiftelsen för Insamlingskontroll [Foundation for Controlled Collections]. SFI regularly reviews our activities, and controls that Assyrians Without Borders uses the money in a correct way. Assyrians Without Borders has a so called 90-account: a postal and giro account which starts with the numbers 90. The 90-account is a warrant for You as a donor that the money goes to the right purpose.

Today there are about 300 organizations in Sweden that have been granted a 90-account. Among them we have for example the Red Cross, Save the Children, and UNICEF. To have a 90-account means perpetual controls of the activities and the economy.

The situation for the Assyrians in their native land is unsustainable. Persecutions, assaults, and discrimination is every-day life, and these things do not stop. In order to run long-term projects and help in acute emergencies in an effective way, we need continuous donations for the Assyrians in the native country.
